SJA Holistics
Welcome to Happy & Whole newsletter, bringing you tips to support your self-care from the comfort of your home. I had hoped to get this to you a little earlier but oh well, things happen as they're meant to, and January is for resting!

While many of us are at standstill with ongoing lockdowns, at this point in February there are signs of nature continuing its annual cycles - some reassurance that life goes on, regardless of the situation you're living through in your area of the world.

Below you can find a class this Saturday giving you Shiatsu-based practices to boost your energy; learn about one of my favourite acupressure points that helps to calm; and read about the self-care trends we'll be following in what is shaping up to be another unpredictable year.

Thanks for being part of this natural wellness community,

Sarah x

THIS WEEKEND

Shiatsu Online: Bring the light; spark your energy; brighten up

online shiatsu class ad
On Saturday 20th February join me online to experience some Shiatsu-based practices that can give you a boost of energy on those dark wintry mornings when it feels impossible to get out of bed!

I will be sharing easy and accessible practices you can do in your own time, and show to others. All proceeds are for Bowel Cancer UK.

Easy Acupressure to calm

I relied on a handful of acupressure points to see me through the stresses and strains of 2020. Here is one of my favourites, found in the centre of the palm, that brings a sense of calm.

Finally, a few things I’ve enjoyed recently...
  • This MindBodyGreen article for reading inspo - top of my list is the book “Happy not Perfect” which claims to help us navigate uncertainty.
  • BBC documentary “The truth about….immunity” shared insights from studies showing that echinacea is one of the best supplements to boost your immune system along with a cold shower to briefly stress your body, and a massage.
  • The Subtle Body Colouring Book is perfect for fans of anatomy, energy, vibrations and colouring in!
