Welcome to your Go Slow Friday Letter, from a rainy Dharamsala where the peaceful mountain vibes are broken y thundering noise from streams that turn to muddy rivers whenever there is a cloudburst.

All the heavy rain is causing landslides throughout the state so I'm grounded here for a while longer until the weather becomes more inclement. The downtime means I've more time to enjoy the tranquility of the pine forests and wave my arms around with style. What am I on about?! Check this week's post.

Just "wave your arms around with style"

Qigong has improved my health in so many ways. From managing stress to slowing down and calming a noisy mind, I continue to feel more and more benefits of my daily practice.

Now I want to introduce it to you so you can feel the benefits too. This week I introduce moves 1-3 of the Shibashi Set One form. Give it a try!

A few things I think you will like....

  • The Global Consciousness Project found that its global Mind-Body healing event (including Qi gong) increased "coherence of consciosness" for the whole world.
  • This is the entire Shibashi Set One form that I will be sharing over the next 6 weeks. It includes guidance for each move. Sifu is one of my Qi gong teachers!
  • Nourising our Shen, the spirit of the Heart and part of the Fire element can be strengthened through caring for others and touch. A healthy Fire element fuels joy of unity and harmony.
