An hour of downtime in our hectic world is a rare thing! This is your invitation to explore moments of stillness and experience the healing power of shiatsu energy.
I will ring you at the agreed time to open the session, and guide you into the session. We will stay connected throughout and there will be time at the start and end for discussion.
I want you to get as much from the session as you can, so please read the following guidance.
- If possible, choose a space where you are unlikely to be distracted – by other people, neighbours, outside noise, pets, traffic. If you live with others, let them know that you would appreciate some quiet time throughout your session!
- An eye mask might help to remove visual distractions.
- Turn your phone notifications to silent.
- Wear adequate clothing and socks – some people feel cold when lying still for a period of time.
- Use cushions and props eg under the knees to support your lower back.
- Avoid eating or drinking any stimulants at least two hours prior to your session.
- Drink plenty of water afterwards.
