Are you feeling excited for Spring but a little frustrated with ongoing lockdowns or perhaps anxious about your local area opening up?
Join this hour of nourishing self-Shiatsu where you can enjoy Shiatsu-based practices like acupressure, Shiatsu touch and Qi Gong. Learn how you can replenish your Ki (energy), a nearly finite previous pot of Ki that we are born with.
We will cover:
- Do-In to wake up you fascia first thing in the morning
- Makko Ho meridian stretches to open your energy channels and get your Ki (energy) flowing
- Shiatsu touch to calm and anchor you
- Self-acupressure using two powerful acupressure points on the Earth merdians of the legs
- A simple Qi Gong form to support you with the gentle energies of heaven and earth
All proceeds will be donated to Bowel Cancer UK, a charity that is important to me following my dad’s experience with this disease in 2016. An operation followed by six months of chemo helped him into remission. (I also sent Reiki energy regularly too!)

Background
This class runs every two weeks and reflects my interest in the use of Eastern Medicine for our self-care and especially for when we feel depleted or anxious.
I have experience of giving Shiatsu to people struggling with burnout (also understood as an addiction to over-working) and have first-hand experience of this too. Maintaining sustainable energy levels has become an essential part of my own self-care practice.
